Hello Gorgeous!

It's hard to believe the cruise is 1/3 of the way over!

Morning
I woke up earlier than expected so I spent the better half of the dawn and sunrise time on the balcony. It was perfect and inspiring! Once Chris woke up, we got ready and then made our way to the Windjammer. It was after 9AM and it was even more crowded than the previous day when we were there around 8AM. TIP- For any cruise line buffet, the early the better!

These birds were so weird. They trailed the ship for a better part of 1-2 hours while I was on the balcony! It is was so weird! Plus they left us a treat on the balcony!

More of Splash Away Bay! PERFECT for kids!

After breakfast we made our way to the Casino Royale for the "Lower Limit" table games. This was published in the Cruise Compass to be from 10AM to 1PM. TIP- The normal limit at the tables (for Blackjack, Craps, Texas Hold Em', etc) was $15. This "lower limit" was $6 which for whatever reason seemed a little odd. Why not $5? To be honest, I was expecting $2-3. I guess that is my old Oklahoma Indian Casino experiences. None the less, we sat down and started to see what would happen. All "lower limit" games mean is... You lose your money slower. And that is exactly what Chris did! Within 30 minutes he was completely out of money. I on the other hand was winning and felt good. We stayed for nearly 2 hours and I left up by $12. That is WINNING!

After that we went to guest services to check our On Board Credit. TIP- We booked this cruise with a travel agent for the first time and was expecting a total of $375 OBC. On this morning we got a note from our steward we only had $250. After waiting in line for a few minutes I learned it was all there. This travel agent got us all kinds of extras and even found us this aft balcony. www.cruconoutlet.com and ask for Bill or Paige.

Afternoon
As we were leaving the guest services we ran into the Cruise Director, Jeffrey. We ended up talking to him for nearly 30 minutes about life on board and his history with Royal Caribbean and other cruise lines. He talked a lot about the differences sailing from Galveston vs Miami or other East Coast departure points. Of course, we all know TEXAS IS BEST and he confirmed that. He also mentioned how he knows and realizes that Royal costs so much more than other lines and he first just wants people to be able to cruise but if they CAN afford Royal... DO IT! This was nice to actually HEAR a Royal employee acknowledge this. He told us all kinds of stories and it was a great way to spend the afternoon. I love getting to talk to crew members and this was especially neat.

Jeffrey, we grew to LOVE you! Thanks for talking to us!

We then made our way to the Main Dining Room for the "Brassier 30" lunch. We knew they were offering one of our favorite dishes, the Tomato Risotto and it did not disappoint. We both agree that it got better with each and every bite.

With shrimp, mussels and scallops, this risotto is rich and lavish!

After lunch we went back to the Casino Royale for $2 mimosas and of course, the last part of the "lower limit" games but this time, I lost too. Chris was on the worst losing streak of a long time and it looked like I may be joining him. Oh well... It was fun!

We then made our way to our balcony for a perfectly shaded afternoon. We were now headed almost directly south which allowed for coverage on the balcony. We stayed there for a little bit before going to the FRIENDS trivia at On Air on deck 3. I have won the friends trivias the past 2 cruises so I was excited to try to win another one. Unfortunately, that didn't happen! This was a VERY hard trivia (with a few incorrect questions/ answers) and even the winner only had 14/ 20 questions! But don't worry... I will be prepared for the March cruise!
This was my spot for the majority of the afternoon!

The birds were still trailing us 6 hours later in the afternoon!

Evening
Night #3... Perfection!

We had dinner reservations at Chops Grille so we made our way up to deck 11. We had incredible experiences at Chops in the past and it was the standard for which we judged all cruise line specialty dining. We were anxious to see if it lived up to it's memory and it surely did. The service and food were outstanding. This reminded us why many of our long time cruising friends pay for specialty dining each night. The service is literally 1 on 1. Our waiter was spectacular and the manager took great care of us as well. The steak I had was absolute perfection and the appetizers were phenomenal. The waiters even sang "Happy Anniversary" to us and we ended up with 4 desserts! Let's just say, we left a LOT on the table!

Thank you Royal Caribbean for once again spoiling us!

We ran to our balcony to try and catch the evening sunset and while we made it in time, it was a great sunset. This balcony was perfect for sunrises and sunsets!

This is the life!

This sunset was beautiful and a perfect way to close our evening!

Balcony Selfie!

8:30PM... Gorgeous!

We sat on the balcony for a while just talking about anything and everything before catching the late night show of "In the Air" aerial act by the Royal Caribbean singers and dancers. It was a GREAT show with a packed house. TIP- Get to this show EARLY or you will be standing!

The hired acrobats were incredible and we LOVED watching them! The "ooohs" and "awes" made it even better!

The Royal Caribbean singers and dancers were great as well!

After the show we roamed the Promenade before heading back to the Theater for the adult late night comedy. The comedian was the same as the 1st night and he was hilarious and not too risque and didn't curse too much. We enjoyed his show and then made our way back to our room around midnight. Tomorrow would be our first port and we wanted to get some good rest.

This day was full of games, drinks, incredible food and of course... balcony time! It was a perfect day spent at sea!

Be sure to check back for the daily posts of our trip. Each day we will include more tips and tricks about the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas.

Once again, thank you so much for following along!

Next up... Coxen Hole, Roatan and our 1st Port Stop!
