In July 2013 Chris and I took a Western Caribbean Cruise aboard the Carnival Conquest sailing out of New Orleans, LA. This beautiful floating hotel took us to the following destinations: 

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Honduras
Belize City, Belize
Cozumel, Mexico

Chris and I had been on 1 other cruise prior to this one and it happened to be the EXACT same ship without the upgrades. It had been over 7 years since we lasted cruised and that was with my in-laws so this was sure to be a DIFFERENT experience. We also took a short 1.5 day mini-vacation to Baton Rouge and New Orleans leading up to this cruise!  This will be a multiple entry blog about not only our 7 days at sea, 2 entries about our food experiences and  the mini-vacation prior to our embarkation as well! WE HAD A BLAST and LOVED every minute of it!

This was a MAGNIFICENT experience and CRUISE and what truly got us hooked. We knew from this point forward we would be cruising EVERY SUMMER... If not more! Thanks again to my parents and in-laws for taking BOTH of our kids while we enjoyed a MUCH NEEDED vacation aboard the Carnival Conquest.
