Living in Harmony- Sea Day #2

 Welcome to the Party Chris
February 17, 2026
Sea Day #2

What an EPIC day for CHRIS!

Morning
Everyone got a much better night sleep and I met up with Chris at the MDR for breakfast shortly after 8AM. Once again, the service in the Main Dining Room was fantastic for breakfast. Luke opted to go to the Windjammer for breakfast as he really wanted to be at the FlowRider before 9AM. TIP- This proved to be a wise decision as he mentioned there already being a line around 8:45AM; unlike Sea Day #1 when there was not a line formed until after it opened.

Hello Tuesday!

There are SO MANY places to get food on these MEGA ships!
All offering a wide variety of options!

The MDR Breakfast burrito is surprisingly very tasty and filling!

Luke enjoyed several rounds on the boogie boarding FlowRider before heading to the Main Pool. Chris and I watched Luke live his best life and then spent most of the rest of the morning at the Solarium in the shade. TIP- Not a lot of bars are open before 10AM but the few that are open are on Deck 15 near the Main Pool.

A view of the Main Pool (Deck 15 Midship) around 9AM on Sea Day #2.

Trust me... It doesn't get much better than THIS!
This right here is my perfect day!

Luke with another EPIC morning on the FlowRider!

Check it out... Another great day for Luke on the FlowRider!

At 10:30AM all 4 of us met at the Top Tier Event that was being held in the Aqua Theater for Platinum Guests and higher. TIP- The Crown and Anchor Society is a Loyalty Club for Royal Caribbean International. This begins when you have 30 nights sailing with Royal Caribbean. We are at the Emerald level currently (55 nights) and are striving to be DIAMOND (80 nights) by Summer 2026. This event is awesome because you can see how many guests are sailing on this voyage as well as get to see the highest level cruisers for each sailing. The 2nd highest cruiser of the week was actually from Conroe, TX (our hometown).

This always makes me feel so special to be included in this event!

Even Luke is Emerald on Royal Caribbean

The numbers for our sailing!
This voyage had 6,390 total passengers (not completely sold out) with 3,207 being Crown and Anchor members. I am always amazed at how many people are Pinnacle PLUS!

During this event the Aqua cast also put on a brief 20 minute show for us and it was nothing short of incredible. The diving, dancing and acrobat performances were so awesome to see and hard to believe we were on a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean and not at a show in Las Vegas! We were also able to meet the Captain and Cruise Director- Katie.

This Aqua show was AWESOME and we loved the private showing!

Our Captain was on his last week on board and was ready to go home!

Katie our Cruise Director for England was lots of fun!

After the Top Tier Event we went to the Schooner Bar for the Elvis Trivia. We did not win but we enjoyed singing along!

Afternoon
We opted to go to the MDR for lunch as the 2nd Sea Day menu is typically much better than the 1st Sea Day and this proved to be true on this day. The service was great and even better than dinner, which in our experience is unusual as MDR lunch can be long.  We were also able to talk to JingJin the head waiter from our dinner location about her life in China.

There is typically only 2 Sea Day lunch menus on board and this is the better of the two in our opinion!

The Shrimp Risotto is INCREDIBLE!
Kellie- 5.0, Luke 4.5, Natalie- 4.5

Mozzarella Sticks (had by all)
All- 4.5

Beef Quesadilla
Kellie- 4.5, Luke- 4.0

Chicken and Waffles
Chris- 4.5

White Chocolate Moose
Kellie- 4.5 (It is so rich!)

After lunch, Chris and I went back to the Solarium and laid out in the shade until it was time to meet Natalie and Luke at the Boots and Bonnet Pub for Sports Trivia. Luke tried really hard to win this trivia (and he knew more than we expected) but it was very competitive and we did not win.

A view of the same Main Pool (Deck 15 Midship) around 1:30PM.

We meandered down to Boleros to talk to our bartender friend Yash and the kids played with the Higher or Lower gameshow that was happening. In fact, everyone but me got selected to play and actually WON a Royal Caribbean pen!

Luke was given a question about the Bible.
Higher or Lower- Psalms has 150 chapters. The answer is EVEN!
Luke argued with the Activities worker and he got a pen anyway!
Even other passengers were saying it was incorrect information!

We decided to go back up to Deck 15 to do the Zipline. TIP- Be sure to have closed toe shoes, a shirt with sleeves and "longer" shorts before you get in line. In addition, you cannot have any jewelry or anything in your pockets. Luke was a little unsure about the whole thing but Natalie and I were excited to try this very short zipline. I had experienced this on our 2023 Allure of the Seas and it is AWESOME. Natalie, Luke and I all did the zipline and LOVED it.

As we exited the adventure, Chris all of the sudden out of nowhere says "I will do it you will wait for me". OF COURSE we will wait for you! In the past decade or so Chris has just not shown any interest in the adventurous parts of trips so this truly was a milestone. Due to his Type 2 Diabetes he has lost enough weight as well. Chris was able to experience the Zipline without a line even. In fact, he loved it so much he literally walked off and right back on.

Chris really enjoyed this and I am so glad he opted to do this and have fun with us!

BEST DAY EVER!

After our ziplining experience, we ALL did the Ultimate Abyss as well. Chris was able to do the Ultimate Abyss as well (and we joked, he did not have a heart attack, even). And the kids even took the elevator back to Deck 15 to do it again while Chris and I enjoyed a Johnny Rocket's shake. TIP- The Deluxe Beverage Package and the Refreshment Package both include JR shakes and they are delicious! Be sure to get one (or a few) while you are on board.

Let's go down 10 stories to the Boardwalk... "I'll Race Ya"

Time for another ride on the Carousel!

It was a very adventurous afternoon but we all had a great time. We opted to go to the Schooner Bar for afternoon trivia and then go get ready for dinner in the MDR and an evening of wonderful shows on board the Harmony of the Seas.

Evening
We went to Vintages again for pre-dinner drinks while the kids played more chess outside of Park 150 in Central Park
Chris and I LOVE Vintages and we really enjoyed talking with Ursula about her life on and off board. We also used our Emerald discount to get a glass of Caymus Cabernet. This is easily some of the best wine we have ever had and usually is $34/glass. With our Emerald discount we each received 2 glasses 50% off. This was well worth it. It is a great way to celebrate our 20 year anniversary in a few weeks.

March 11th is TWENTY YEARS!
Some days it feels like yesterday and other days it feels like a lifetime!
Thank you, Chris Davis, for putting up with me all these years! I do not deserve you, but I am so very grateful for you!

Another gorgeous evening in Central Park on the Harmony of the Seas!

Well worth every penny... It really is the best wine on board!

Where is my little girl?

Our dinner in the MDR was delicious and the service was improving every night, although it was already really fast to be honest. Our wait staff was also very quick to meet any requests we had.

The Taste of Italy menu is really one of my favorites... It has a little something for everyone!

Arancini Balls
ALL 4 of us- 5.0

After dinner we walked a little bit on the Promenade Deck 5 outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and walk off our meal a little bit. We also went to watch a dance party in the Royal Promenade before making our way to On Air for karaoke but within a few songs we opted to go elsewhere.

The On Air bar is small but mighty and the venue is great for Karaoke and other visual trivia's!

We then went to the Aqua Theater for the "Fine Line" show. TIP- The Aqua Theater is on Oasis and Icon class ships and offers an incredible Las Vegas style acrobatic show approximately twicer per sailing. Be sure to reserve tickets PRIOR to embarkation if possible as these shows do sell out. Also, they allow entry to the Aqua Theater 45 minutes prior to the show start time and I highly recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early as some views are better than others. There is a "No Reservations" line and 5 minutes before show time they allow anyone to find seats but it's best to reserve these ahead of time.

This show featured athletes performing acrobatic stunts, tight rope stunts, diving from incredible heights and dancing in the water. It was absolutely incredible and easily my favorite show EVER at seas!

After dinner stroll!

It's time for the Aqua Show!

These athletes are just incredible!

The tight rope stunt was really cool...

Until we looked up and realized another person was tight rope walking 3 stories above!

We loved this show...DO NOT MISS THIS!

After the Aqua Theater show Natalie and Luke opted to go get in the hot tub for some late night relaxation while Chris and I went to the Pub. We had met the Pub Bar Manager, Xue from China, earlier in the day and we really enjoyed talking to her so we spent the late night evening in the pub listening to live music. We all ended the evening shortly before midnight as we had a busy day in Roatan the next morning!

It was a GREAT day spent on board and a memorable day with Chris joining our party of fun on the Harmony of the Seas.

What a GREAT Day... We were all Young at heart!

Did you miss Embarkation Day or Sea Day #1?

Up Next- Roatan, Honduras!
